Human trafficking brings in $150 Billion dollar world-wide.  With 600,000 to 800,000 children and adults brought illegally to the United States each year

Heather Kelly interviews Founder and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad, Tim Ballard and actor Jim Caviezel, best know for "Passion of the Christ" and "The Count of Monte Cristo" about the documentary "Operation Toussaint."  The film shows the efforts of Ballard, O.U.R members and law-enforcement in Haiti trying to get child sex slaves out of their situation.

Mr. Caviezel is also slated to portray Tim Ballard's efforts to organize Operation Underground Railroad.  The film called 'Sound of Freedom' will begin filming on June 11, 2018 in Columbia.

The 26th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is Saturday, May 12th.  It's a nationwide event.  Utah Food Bank President and CEO, Ginette Bott explains how you can help feed those who don't know where their next meal is coming from. 

The Utah Food Bank helps 'fight hunger statewide.'  More than 392,000 people miss at least one meal a day in Utah alone.  And they aren't homeless.  Many families have to choose between paying to have a roof over their heads or paying for food.

The President and CEO of the Utah Food Bank says many children will not have any food at all when they are out of school during the summer vacation.  Ginette Bott explains many Utah children receive 2-meals a day from their school, but go without a third meal at home.

Utah Food Bank supplies deplete faster during the summer than any other time of the year.  And, food banks aren't allowed to receive left-over food from restaurants.  Find out what other items you should not donate.

April 10th is National Equal Pay Day.  The day each year, historically, it takes women to receive the same amount of pay as their male counterparts make in a calendar year.  The average pay a woman takes home is 82-percent of a man's wages.  In Utah, women only make 70-percent for every dollar a man does.
